The invention provides a hoop type connecting structure used for erecting a safety rope between two rectangular columns. The hoop type connecting structure comprises two telescopic pipes and two connecting rods, and the telescopic pipes and the connecting rods are perpendicular to each other and form a #-shaped frame arranged outside the rectangular columns in a sleeving mode; and the telescopic pipes can extend or retract in the direction perpendicular to the connecting rods, and one end of each telescopic pipe is connected with the safety rope. Through regulation of the length of the telescopic pipes, the area enclosed by the #-shaped frame is regulated, so that the hoop type connecting structure is connected with the rectangular columns more stably. Furthermore, since the area enclosedby the #-shaped frame is adjustable, the hoop type connecting structure can be suitable for the rectangular columns in different sizes, and the universality is higher. Based on this, the invention further provides a safety rope device between the rectangular columns, and the safety rope device is simple in structure and convenient in removal and installation, and facilitates reutilization.
