The invention discloses a security device for an entry door. The security device comprises a protection device, an insurance module and an auxiliary module, the protection device comprises the iron door, a rotating shaft and a rotating shaft support, the inner side of the insurance module is movably connected with the iron door through the rotating shaft support and the rotating shaft, and the auxiliary module is arranged at the top of the insurance module. By arranging the insurance module, the safety of the device in use can be improved when the iron door of the device is in a closed state,by arranging the auxiliary module, when the indoor and outdoor temperature difference is large, indoor and outdoor circulation through the device can be blocked, thus a cold air flow or a hot air flowis blocked, and the heat-preservation effect of the device is improved accordingly.
