The embodiment of the invention provides a method for controlling a lock, the lock, a vehicle and a computer readable medium. The method disclosed herein comprises steps of in response to detecting that a lock is switched from an unlocked state to a locked state, determining whether a current position of a vehicle is within an allowable parking range; in response to determining that the vehicle isnot within the allowed parking range, switching a lock of the vehicle from the locked state to the unlocked state. The method is advantaged in that the vehicle can adapt to an occasion of an electronic fence without changing internal elements of the lock, so operation and maintenance cost of the vehicle is reduced.
