The invention relates to a comprehensive purification treatment method for municipal riverway. The method comprises the following steps: 1, arranging a plurality of cofferdams in a river to divide theriverway into a plurality of desilting river sections; 2, draining the water body in each desilting river section into the adjacent desilting river section from the upstream of the riverway, excavating and removing silt in the riverway; 3, measuring the depth of the excavated and cleaned desilting river section, and laying a soil fixing layer at the bottom of the riverway; 4, arranging an aeration pipe in the soil fixing layer, and forming a plurality of aeration openings in the aeration pipe; 5, arranging a purification grid at a preset height away from the soil fixing layer; 6, dismantlingthe cofferdam located on the upstream, enabling the desilting river sections to be filled with water, and then arranging an ecological floating bed at the preset position of the desilting river section; and 7, repeating step 1 to step 6 until desilting treatment of the whole riverway is completed. The treatment method is high in desilting effect, high in water body purification treatment capacityand good in comprehensive treatment effect.
