The invention relates to the field of fire fighting equipment, and discloses an outdoor fire hydrant facilitating water drainage. The outdoor fire hydrant comprises a lower hydrant pipe buried underground, wherein a water passing bent pipe is connected to the bottom of the lower hydrant pipe through a flange; one end of the water passing bent pipe communicates with a water conveying pipeline; a water drainage pipe positioned underground is arranged at the bottom of the lower hydrant pipe; an upper hydrant pipe is connected to the top of the lower hydrant pipe through a flange; the middle of the top end of the upper hydrant pipe is sleeved with a threaded valve rod in a threaded mode; and a rotating wheel is arranged at the top end of the threaded valve rod. According to the outdoor fire hydrant facilitating water drainage, through the structural design of an adjusting oil pipe in linkage with the threaded valve rod, in the using process of the fire hydrant, when the threaded valve rodcontrols a valve element and a center valve seat to be opened for water pumping, a sealing ring and a water drainage valve seat are attached to block the water drainage pipe, and therefore the problemthat negative pressure formed by high-speed water flow in an inner cavity of the lower hydrant pipe causes suction of soil at a water drainage pipe opening, and consequently the water drainage pipe is blocked is solved.
