The invention relates to a track-mounted transformer substation intelligent inspection robot. An inspection track used for walking of the inspection robot is laid in the transformer substation. The inspection track is arranged along a monitoring point in the transformer substation; the inspection robot comprises a chassis, a first walking system is arranged at the lower end of one side of the chassis, a second walking system is arranged at the upper end of one side of the chassis, and the inspection track is erected above the ground through stand columns and comprises a track body, and a firsttrack edge and a second track edge which are arranged at the upper side and the lower side of the track body respectively; the inspection robot further comprises an inspection system and a driving system, the driving system comprises a driving gear installed on the chassis, the inspection track further comprises a rack which is installed on the track body and extends along the path of the track body, and the rack is meshed with the driving gear. The inspection system comprises a rotary holder, a camera device and a wireless communication module.
