The invention discloses a preparation method of liquid calcium hydroxide. The preparation method of the liquid calcium hydroxide comprises the following steps of: calcining, impurity removal, crushing, digestion and separation. The digestion step is divided into two steps, the first step is common coarse digestion, and the second step is grinding digestion which can be improved through grinding digestion. The preparation method further comprises the sixth step. According to the sixth step, ground and digested calcium hydroxide slurry is filtered through a filter screen, so that impurities canbe removed, and then the slurry is sent into a centrifugal separator; the rotating speed of the centrifugal machine is controlled; and the slurry is separated into clear liquid and liquid calcium hydroxide with the corresponding concentration. By means of the above method, particles of liquid calcium hydroxide can be ground to the micron order, deep digestion time is obviously shortened, impurities in a finished product are reduced, and the product quality and production efficiency are improved.
