The invention discloses an observation platform with high safety performance and used for marine observation. The observation platform comprises an observation platform body; a plurality of loop barsare fixed on the outer wall of one side of the observation platform body at equal intervals; a baffle plate is arranged at the end, far away from the observation platform body, of each of the loop bars; a prismoid is arranged on the outer wall of one side of the baffle plate; each of the loop bars is composed of an outer bar and an inner bar; the diameter of the outer bar is greater than that of the inner bar; one end of the outer bar is fixed on the outer wall of the observation platform body through a bolt; the outer bar takes a hollow structure; one end of the inner bar is connected into the outer bar in a clamping manner; and the outer end of the inner bar is arranged on the outer wall of the baffle plate. The observation platform body, the loop bars, a spring, the baffle plates and the prismoids are arranged, sea waves collide with the prismoids, the spring is stressed to compress, and the inner bars shrink towards the outer bars to reduce sea waves striking the observation platform body; and a gap exists between every two adjacent prismoids to section the sea waves so as to reduce the impact force of the sea waves to the baffle plates.
