The invention discloses an adjustable supporting rod for a fabricated building and an operation method of the adjustable supporting rod. The adjustable supporting rod comprises a first fixing rod, a second fixing rod and an adjusting rod; one end of the first fixing rod is connected with a fist connecting seat, and the other end of the first fixing rod is fixedly provided with a fist screw rod; one end of the second fixing rod is connected with a second connecting seat, and the other end of the second fixing rod is fixedly provided with a second screw rod; the two ends of the adjusting rod areprovided with internal threads and match with the first screw rod and the second screw rod; and the screwing directions of the first screw rod and the second screw rod are opposite. According to theadjustable supporting rod, the two ends of the adjusting rod match with the first screw rod and the second screw rod correspondingly, the screwing directions of the two screw rods are opposite, and the length of the supporting rod can be adjusted by rotating the adjusting rod, so that the operation is convenient, and the advantages of stable supporting, high adjusting precision and labor-saving adjusting are achieved.
