The invention discloses a household appliance. The household appliance comprises a cavity, a door body and a door opening mechanism. The door body is rotationally connected with the front part of thecavity through a rotating shaft. A chamber is formed in the cavity, and an opening is formed in the part, located in the front of the cavity, of the chamber. The door opening mechanism is installed inthe cavity, and the door opening mechanism and the rotating shaft are located on the upper side and the lower side of the opening respectively. The door opening mechanism comprises a pushing part andis used for driving the pushing part to move so that the pushing part can push the door body, and an anti-collision buffering part is arranged at one end of the pushing part used for pushing the doorbody. According to the household appliance, the door body is pushed to open by applying the acting force to the door body through the pushing part on the upper side of the opening, and the anti-collision buffering part is arranged at one end of the pushing part for pushing the door body. In this way, impact acting force generated by instant impact during door opening can be effectively relieved,impact noise is reduced, the influence of discoloration and pits on the door body is avoided, the comfort of a user using the automatic door opening function is improved, and the design life requirement of the door body is met.
