The invention relates to a jamb-free window appendent frame installing method. The method comprises the following steps that 1, a construction line is drawn at a to-be-constructed position, battens are installed according to the construction line, a wall is formed, and a window opening is reserved in the wall; 2, vertically extending steel plates are fixedly installed on the left side wall face and the right side wall face of the window opening, horizontally extending steel plates are fixedly installed on the upper side wall face and the lower side wall face of the window opening, the upper ends of the vertically extending steel plates abut against the upper side wall face of the window opening, the lower ends of the vertically extending steel plates abut against the lower side wall face of the window opening, and the two ends of the horizontally extending steel plates abut against the two vertically extending steel plates; and 3, two through holes or above with the axes extending in the thickness direction of the steel plates are formed in the steel plates, the through holes are formed in the length direction of the steel plates at intervals, appendent frames are fixed to the steel plates through self-tapping screws, and the self-tapping screws penetrate through the through holes in the steel plates and then are screwed into wall faces.
