The invention discloses a tower tank installation work platform supporting frame. Multiple overhanging type supports are evenly arranged in the circumferential direction of the outer wall of a tower tank and are used for laying an operation platform. The overhanging type supports are of L-shaped structures. Each overhanging type support comprises an overhanging beam, an upper supporting pillar, alower supporting pillar, diagonal bracings and a stand column, wherein one end of the overhanging type beam is connected with the top face of the upper supporting pillar in a welded manner, and the other end of the overhanging type beam stretches out of the tower tank and is welded to the lower end of the stand column. The operation platform is laid on the overhanging beams, and protection guardrails are arranged on the stand columns and are used for protecting safety of operators. According to the work platform supporting frame invented for construction of welding, heat insulation and the like during tower tank equipment installation in the scheme, the safety construction risk can be effectively lowered, the construction cost is reduced, and the construction efficiency is improved.
