According to the technical scheme, the escape stair is characterized by comprising upper fire escape exits, lower fire escape exits and escape ladders, wherein the upper fire escape exits and the lower fire escape exits are formed in all floors, and the escape ladders are erected at the outer ends of the upper fire escape exits and the lower fire escape exits; and the escape ladders are fixed to a driving assembly and sequentially connected end to form an open chain structure, every two adjacent escape ladders can be driven by the driving assembly to rotate relatively, and the whole escape ladders can be switched between a folded state and an unfolded state.
