The preparation method of the sintered brick comprises the following steps: drying andgrinding copper smelting waste residues and cobalt smelting waste residues into dry powder; and weighing the copper smelting waste residue powder and the cobalt smelting waste residue powder in proportion, uniformly mixing and stirring, adding water for wet mixing, ageing, carrying out compression molding, drying, and calcining to obtain the sintered brick finished product. According to the preparation method, the copper smelting waste residues and the cobalt smelting waste residues are recycled, and good economic benefits and social benefits are achieved; and the sintered brick is characterized in that 100 wt.% of the raw materials in the formula of the sintered brick are two industrial waste residues, namely copper smelting waste residues and cobalt smelting waste residues, so that thecost of the raw materials of the sintered brick is low.
