The invention relates to a municipal road drainage structure. The structure comprises a main road and a walkway, wherein curbstone is arranged between the main road and the walkway, the walkway is higher than the main road, a drainage groove is formed between the curbstone and the walkway, drainage holes for communicating an upper surface of the main road with the drainage grooves are formed in the curbstone, the walkway comprises a foundation plate and sponge bricks, the sponge bricks are laid on the foundation plate, the top of the foundation plate is provided with a water guide slope inclining towards a drainage groove, the water guide slope is provided with an inclined water guide groove, and the bottoms of the sponge bricks are provided with inclined protrusions abutting against the water guide slope. The structure is advantaged in that more sludge is effectively prevented from being accumulated in the drainage groove in the drainage process, and therefore the smoothness effect ofthe drainage groove is guaranteed.
