The invention discloses an underwater sand and stone removing device which comprises a rack, one or more wringing suction heads installed on the rack and used for smashing sand and stone and a collecting and conveying mechanism which is connected with the wringing suction heads and used for collecting and conveying the smashed sand and stone. The wringing suction heads are installed on the rack ina manner of moving up and down relative to the rack. The underwater sand and stone removing device can operate in a hard geological environment, is easy to operate, can move the wringing suction heads in the vertical direction to smash and collect sand and stone at deeper positions, does not need to move frequently in the horizontal direction, improves efficiency and has excellent stability.
