The invention discloses a construction site safety gate with safety helmet wearing information reading and safety helmet issuing functions. The gate comprises a gate cabinet, a channel cavity with anupward opening is formed in the gate cabinet; a first sliding groove cavity which is symmetrical about the channel cavity is formed in the channel cavity, and an opening of the first sliding groove cavity is close to the side of the channel cavity. An anti-following device is arranged in a cavity of the first sliding groove. A storage box body is fixedly arranged on the right end surface of the gate cabinet body; and a storage cavity is formed in the storage box body. The gate is mounted at an entrance of a building construction site, and is high in automation degree, safety helmets can be automatically issued, whether entering personnel correctly wear the safety helmets or not can be identified, and then the entering personnel can be allowed to enter the construction site, and meanwhile,the system can prevent following unconscious personnel escaping from inspection, improve the safety protection of construction site, and avoid personal property loss caused by protection looseness dueto subjectivity and limitation of people.
