The mother liquor comprises the following raw materials: ether macromonomers, unsaturated acid, an oxidizing agent, a reducing agent, a catalyst, a chain transferagent, liquid caustic soda and water; the water reducing agent is prepared from the following raw materials: water, a retarding component, a water retention component and an air entraining defoamingcomponent. By means of the mother liquor, the preparation method, the water reducing agent and the preparation method provided by the invention, when the air temperature in winter is low, the concretereaction speed can be increased, the production efficiency can be improved, and the problems of segregation, poor workability and the like of concrete postposition bleeding can be effectively prevented; the production process is optimized, the synthesis process time is shortened, the labor cost is saved, and the synthesis machine-hour is increased.
