The invention discloses a water supply and drainage device for municipal roads. The device comprises a tap water pipe, a rainwater collecting opening and a sewer line. The rainwater collecting openingis flush with the road surface of a road, an inlet of the sewer line is communicated with the rainwater collecting opening, the tap water pipe is provided with a branch pipe, and a driving combination is arranged on the branch pipe. A driving assembly comprises a shell, a water wheel and a rotating shaft, the shell is provided with a closed cavity, the two opposite sides of the cavity are communicated with the branch pipes, the water wheel is rotationally connected into the cavity, one end of the rotating shaft is coaxially and fixedly connected with the water wheel, and the other end of therotating shaft extends out of the cavity and extends into the sewer line; the rotating shaft and the shell are rotationally sealed, one end of the rotating shaft is connected with a cutting structure,and sludge at an inlet of a sewer line is cut and damaged through the cutting structure. According to the device, sludge and impurities at the inlet of the sewer line are cut, the sludge is preventedfrom blocking the inlet of the sewer line, and then the traffic problem caused by blockage of the sewer line is solved.
