The invention discloses a double-stroke adjustable walking type pushing device and a pushing method. The pushing device comprises a first pushing structure and a second pushing structure which are located on a base. Each of the first pushing structure and the second pushing structure comprises: a jacking structure, which comprises a jack located on the base, wherein the jack is connected with thebase in a front-back sliding mode, an output shaft of the jack is far away from the base, and a jack cap is connected to the output shaft of the jack; and a stroke structure which comprises a front-back pushing jack, wherein the front-back pushing jack is connected with the base, and an output shaft of the front-back pushing jack is connected with the jack; the pushing directions of the front pushing jacks and the rear pushing jacks of the first pushing structure and the second pushing structure are located on the same straight line. According to the scheme, the pushing advancing constructionefficiency can be improved, and time cost and labor cost are reduced.
