The invention discloses a weak axis fabricated joint of an H-shaped steel beam and an H-shaped steel column and a construction method. The weak axis fabricated joint includes the H-shaped steel beam,the H-shaped steel column, a connector I and a connector II. The connector I is arranged at a connection position of a beam flange plate and a column web plate, the connector II is arranged at a connection position of the end of the beam flange plate and a column flange plate, the connector II is provided with an insertion groove I and insertion grooves II, the insertion groove I is vertically arranged and is connected with the column flange plate in a clamped mode, the insertion grooves II are horizontally arranged, the number of the insertion grooves II is two, and the insertion grooves II are connected with the beam flange plate in a clamped mode. The accessories required for the joint are all prefabricated in a factory, and the joints are constructed all by adopting high-strength boltfabricated connection; and the H-shaped steel beam is fixed to the web plate and the flange plate of the H-shaped steel column in a clamped mode through the cooperation of the connector I and the connector II, the stress range of the H-shaped steel column is dispersed, the mechanical performance of the H-shaped steel column is improved, the stability of the beam and column is improved, through thecooperation use of a positioning block on the connector II and a positioning groove in the H-shaped steel beam, fast positioning is achieved, the installation of the H-shaped steel beam is facilitated, and the installation efficiency is improved.
