Based on an existing vehicle door, the double-lock type vehicle door is additionally provided with asecond door lock and a second handle for opening the second door lock. The second handle is connected with the second door lock through a second connecting rod. A clamping slot is formed in the second connecting rod. A clamping block is arranged directly above the clamping slot. An auxiliary rearview mirror which can be opened and closed is arranged on the outside of the vehicle door. A power control circuit of a first miniature electromagnet is provided with a delay timer. Flashing warning lights are arranged on the top of the auxiliary rearview mirror and the top of the existing rearview mirror of the vehicle. A power control circuit of a second miniature electromagnet corresponding to the second door lock is also provided with a release switch. The double-lock type vehicle door can effectively help passengers to develop a habit of Dutch door opening method on the basis of meeting actual application requirements of the vehicle door, ensure sufficient observation area and observationtime, and can warn surrounding vehicles and pedestrians that the corresponding door is about to open. Therefore, accidents caused by not observing a rear vehicle condition in place can be reduced inmany ways.
