The invention discloses a transition structure for preventing bumping at a bridgehead and a using method thereof. The transition structure comprises a fixed unit and a plurality of adjusting units, wherein the fixed unit comprises a separation groove, a slope and a settlement joint, the separation groove is located between an abutment and a road section, the slope is located in the separation groove, and the settlement joint is located between the slope and the road section; each adjusting unit comprises a stand column and a plurality of triangular building blocks, and each stand column is composed of a plurality of stand column blocks; the plurality of adjusting units are arranged in the separation groove, the lower end of the stand column of each adjusting unit penetrates through the slope, and a plurality of triangular building blocks are arranged on each stand column; and the top surfaces of the plurality of adjusting units are flush with the surface of the abutment, so the abutment and the road section are in smooth transition. According to the invention, when continuous settlement happens to the road section and the amount of settlement is large each time, only part of the triangular building blocks and the stand column blocks on each stand column need to be taken away, so the abutment and the road section can be in smooth transition again, and the phenomenon of bumping at the bridgehead is effectively avoided.
