The metal-based composite backboard comprises a metal plate, wherein the light-facing surface of the metal plate is divided into a photovoltaic composite region and a non-photovoltaic composite region; an insulating layer which is arranged on the photovoltaic composite area of the metal plate, wherein the insulating layer and the metal plate are compounded together through an adhesive; a fluorine coating layer which is arrangedon the light-facing surface of the insulating layer, wherein the surface energy of the backlight surface of the insulating layer and the surface energy of the light-facing surface of the fluorine coating layer are both greater than or equal to 40 dynes; and a weather-proof heat reflection coating which covers the non-photovoltaic composite area of the metal plate. The weather resistance of the metal-based composite backboard can be improved, and the service life of the metal-based composite backboard is prolonged; the bonding capability with the photovoltaic layer is stronger, and the servicelife of the metal-based composite backboard is prolonged. In addition, the temperature of the metal plate is reduced, so heat conduction to the photovoltaic layer is reduced, and the power generationefficiency is improved.
