The underwater local maintenance equipment comprises a machine body, a moving cavity with an opening leftwards is formed in the left end in the machine body, a paint cavity is formed in the right end in the machine body, the moving cavity is internally provided with an anhydrous space forming mechanism which is used for forming a closed space in a to-be-maintained part and extracting water in the closed space, the moving cavity is further internally provided with a gate rust grinding mechanism for grinding andpolishing a rusty part of the gate, and the paint cavity is internally provided with a gate local paint repair mechanism for spraying paint on the to-be-maintained part. According to the equipment, the work of grinding and polishing and paint repairing for the rusty waterway gate can be achieved underwater, during working, the equipment and the rusty part of the gate can be aligned and fixed, thespace of the part is automatically sealed, the water in the sealing space can be extracted, so as to form a working environment for grinding and painting the gate, and the process of partial maintenance of the gate can be conveniently achieved.
