The hydration heat inhibitor comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 2%-20% of organic phosphonic acid, 10%-20% of polybasic weak acid, 1%-5% of strong base weak acid salt, 0%-1% of a stabilizer, 0%-1% of an organictackifier and the balance of water. The hydration heat inhibitor is clear and uniform liquid, the pH value of the hydration heat inhibitor is 3.0-5.0, the density of the hydration heat inhibitor is 1.40-1.50 g/cm3, and the solid content of the hydration heat inhibitor is 10%-30%. The hydration heat release amount of cement 7d doped with 0.6% (cement weight) of the hydration heat inhibitor is 14.4%-53.7% of that of a blank sample, and the appearance time of a hydration heat peak value is delayed by 108.4-113.3 h. The hydration heat inhibitor has a remarkable hydration heat inhibition effect, and meanwhile, a preparation scheme can be formulated in a personalized manner according to the requirements of different projects; at 35 DEG C, the cement setting time retention rate doped with the hydration heat inhibitor is 97.6%-98.8%, the hydration heat inhibitor can still keep a remarkable hydration heat inhibition effect in hot summer and high-temperature environment (35 DEG C), and the hydration heat inhibitor is suitable for hydraulic concrete construction in the high-temperature environment.
