The invention discloses a calcium silicate board containing sepiolite clay minerals and a preparation method of the calcium silicate board. The method comprises the following steps: weighing a low-plasticity siliceous raw material, sepiolite clay minerals and slaked lime in proportion, and uniformly mixing all the materials to obtain a dry-mixed material; putting the dry-mixed material into a mold, adding water according to a ratio, uniformly mixing all the materials to obtain a semi-dry material, carrying out compression molding on the semi-dry material, and naturally aging the semi-dry material to obtain an aged product; and carrying out autoclaved curing on the aged product, naturally cooling and taking out the product of the kettle after autoclaved curing is finished, and finally drying and cutting the product to obtain the calcium silicate board containing sepiolite clay minerals. According to the invention, the low-plasticity siliceous raw material is used as a main raw material,a semi-dry molding process is adopted, sepiolite clay minerals and slaked lime are added to prepare the calcium silicate board on the basis of not adding reinforcing materials such as fibers and cement, so that the prepared calcium silicate board is high in strength, good in humidifying and formaldehyde and benzene adsorption performance, simple in manufacturing process and low in cost.
