The invention relates to a multifunctional combined constraint system of a steel box girder suspension bridge and the steel box girder suspension bridge. The constraint system comprises two transversewind-resistant assemblies and at least one longitudinal constraint assembly; the two transverse wind-resistant assemblies are used for being arranged on the two sides of the steel box girder respectively; each transverse wind-resistant assembly comprises a sliding base; one end of each sliding base is used for being connected with the steel box girder, and the other end of each sliding base can move on a bridge tower of the suspension bridge in the longitudinal bridge direction; the longitudinal restraining assemblies are arranged at intervals in the transverse bridge direction; each longitudinal restraining assembly comprises a vertical support and at least one damper; one end of each vertical support is used for being vertically connected to the bottom of the steel box girder, and the other end of each vertical support can move on a cross beam of the suspension bridge in the longitudinal bridge direction; one end of the damper is used for being rotationally connected to the cross beam, and the other end of the damper is rotationally connected with the vertical support and used for restraining movement of the vertical support and the sliding base. The steel box girder suspensionbridge comprises a steel box girder, a bridge tower, a cross beam and the steel box girder suspension bridge multifunctional combined constraint system.
