The invention relates to a novel side brush mounting structure and a side brush bracket. The novel side brush mounting structure comprises a side brush connecting bracket, a first hydraulic cylinder,a second hydraulic cylinder, a screw rod lifting mechanism, a side brush mounting seat, a mounting screw rod and a distance sensor; distances from a left side brush and a right side brush to the ground are sensed through the distance sensor; when it is detected that the surface of a road is uneven; the distances from the left side brush and the right side brush to the ground are automatically adjusted through the screw rod lifting mechanism; the bottoms of the side brushes are effectively ensured to better contact with the ground for cleaning; when the side brushes are replaced, the side brushconnecting bracket is pushed out through the first hydraulic cylinder; the side brush is rotated to a proper angle to be mounted through the second hydraulic cylinder; during mounting, quick mountingcan be realized only by dismounting the mounting screw rod; a worker can quickly replace the side brush without lying at the bottom of a vehicle, a better maintenance and replacement environment is created; an annular sweeping brush fixing plate is adopted, the side brush can be conveniently fixed and installed, meanwhile, the replacement loss of an installation plate material is reduced, and usecost is reduced.
