The invention relates to an anchor rod resistance increasing device and a construction method thereof. The device comprises a rod body and a sleeve, one end of the rod body is inserted into and is inthreaded connection with the upper end of the sleeve, the lower end of the sleeve is closed, two vertical rib units which are diagonally arranged and two oblique rib units which are diagonally arranged are formed on the outer wall of the sleeve outwards, and the two vertical rib units and the two oblique rib units are distributed at intervals; the included angles between each oblique rib unit andtwo adjacent vertical rib units are equal; and each vertical rib unit comprises two symmetrically distributed vertical rib combinations. According to the device, a great enough anti-pulling force canbe provided; even when a rock soil body is deformed in the later period, a good stabilizing effect can be achieved to improve the safety and reliability; and in addition, the device is simple in structure, low in cost and convenient to operate.
