The invention provides a ditch tamping device for highway engineering construction. The ditch tamping device comprises a traveling mechanism body, a swing direction adjusting arm and a tamping assembly, wherein one end of the swing direction adjusting arm is hinged to the traveling mechanism body, and the other end of the swing direction adjusting arm is hinged to the tamping assembly; and the tamping assembly comprises an outer shell hinged to the swing direction adjusting arm and a tamping plate located below the outer shell, and the tamping plate is driven by an impact device to slide backand forth along the central axis of the outer shell. According to the ditch tamping device, the technical requirements of ditch tamping in the highway engineering construction can be completely met interms of both the requirement for traveling and the requirement for adjusting the tamping direction, operation is convenient, and the working efficiency is high.

本发明提供一种公路工程施工用水沟夯实装置，包括：行进机构本体；摆向调节臂，一端与所述行进机构本体铰接，另一端铰接有夯实组件；夯实组件，包括与所述摆向调节臂铰接的外壳体、位于所述外壳体下方的夯实板，所述夯实板由冲击装置的驱动沿所述外壳体的中轴线来回滑动。通过本发明提供的夯实装置，不管是在行进的要求还是对夯实方向的调整要求，均可以完全满足公路工程施工中水沟夯实的技术要求，而且操作便利，工作效率高。
