The antibacterial ceramic tile is prepared from kaolin, quartz sand, mullite, chalk powder, zinc silicate, modified nano-zinc oxide, strontium carbonate, diatom ooze, aluminum oxide, boron oxide, nano-titanium dioxide and modified chitosan. The antibacterial ceramic tile containing the metal oxide has a good antibacterial effect and antibacterial durability; according to the formula, antibacterial factors such as nano-titanium dioxide, zinc silicate, diatom ooze and boron oxide are added, so the formula has a certain antibacterial basis; and the antibacterial effect and the antibacterial durability are significantly improved by adding the modified nano-zinc oxide and the modifiedchitosan, and the modified chitosan can significantly limit the agglomeration phenomenon of the metal particles so as to effectively improve the antibacterial activity.
