The invention provides raw materials for preparing a matchstick friction layer and a method and device for coating the surface of ceramic with the matchstick friction layer. The matchstick friction layer is prepared from 41%-45% of red phosphorus, 11%-16% of manganese dioxide, 6%-11% of glass powder, 23%-27% of pyrite and 8%-11% of adhesive. The method comprises the following specific steps: raw material preparation, slurry preparation, slurry application, and drying. The method and device for coating the ceramic surface with the raw materials of the match friction layer are reasonable in design, the required match friction layer pattern can be automatically coated on the ceramic surface, and the match friction layer pattern can be synchronously dried in the coating process, so that the match friction layer can be quickly and stably attached to the ceramic, and the quality of the match friction layer is guaranteed.
