The invention discloses a stair-type folding scaffold, and relates to the technical field of construction equipment. The stair-type folding scaffold includes a bottom plate, a first frame plate and asecond frame plate, and two ladder frames are rotatably connected to the bottom of the first frame plate and the second frame plate separately; ladder plates are evenly arranged in a linear array between the inner sides of the two ladder frames; guide gears are rotatably connected to the inner sides of the two ladder frames and between two adjacent ladder plates; wherein a rotating frame is sleeved on the end of the guide gear located at the bottom of the ladder frame at the outside of the ladder frame; and one side of the bottom ends of the two ladder frames is slidably fitted with a limit clamping frame. The invention uses the stair-type scaffolding instead of traditional climbing scaffolding; and when the rotating frame is rotated, connecting gears at both ends of the ladder plate meshand drive with the guide gears, the clamping block at the end of the rotating frame and the limit guide grooves on the side of the ladder frame are mutually clamped to fix and limit the angle of the ladder plate, and the ladder frame is folded and unfolded under the action of the limit clamping frame; and therefore, the overall tipping caused by climbing from the side of the scaffold is ensured, and the personal safety of the construction personnel is ensured.
