The invention relates to a single-curved-surface fair-faced concrete wood grain roof formwork system and a construction method thereof. The system is a one-way downwards-concave arc-shaped formwork and comprises a formwork and a panel supporting system; the panel supporting system comprises a lining plate, a wood grain plate and reinforcing bars; the wood grain plate is simultaneously provided with transverse grain parts and vertical grain parts; anti-skid meshes for preventing concrete from flowing back to the middle are arranged in the reinforcing bars; and hanging formworks are arranged atsame time. During construction, erecting of a formwork supporting system, paving of the lining plate and the wood grain plate, binding of steel bars, installing of embedded parts, construction of hanging formwork, concentric-rectangle-shaped pouring of fair-faced concrete, concrete curing and formwork removing and base layer treatment are sequentially carried out. According to the formwork system,the fair-faced concrete curved surface and wood grain design is adopted, only a bottom formwork is arranged, a top formwork is not arranged, the problem that honeycombs or holes or pitted surfaces caused by the fact that double-layer arc-shaped formwork vibrating bars cannot be completely inserted is solved, and the roof quality is guaranteed; the embedded part is reserved, pre-embedded and accurately positioned, an installation method is provided, and the concrete is prevented from being chiseled afterwards; and the construction cost is low, the construction period is short, energy is saved,environment is protected, and the application effect is remarkable.
