The belt conveyor steel structure online replacement method comprises the following steps that (1) the belt conveyorsteel structure is disassembled according to the original steel structure of a belt conveyor; (2), during machine stopping, construction is gradually conducted from the tail of the belt conveyor to the head of the belt conveyor, the horizontal steel structure disassembled in the step (1) is fit to the inner side of the original horizontal steel structure, welding and strengthening are conducted section by section according to a steel structure drawing of the belt conveyor till a molded steel structure, same with the steel structure drawing, is formed in the original steel structure; and (3) after the new steel structure is fixed, the original steel structure is dismantled, and accordingly, replacement of the belt conveyor steel structure is completed under the no stopping condition.
