The invention provides an environment-friendly construction method for an expressway. The method comprises the steps that 1 a drainage ditch is dug, and a first drainage pipe is placed in the drainageditch; the first drainage pipe comprises a first pipe and a second pipe; the first pipe is connected with a first water tank and a spraying pipe; 2 a drainage layer is laid and communicates with a second drainage pipe, the second drainage pipe communicates with a second pipe, and the second pipe communicates with the first water tank; 3 a filter layer and a steel wire mesh are laid; 4 a protective net is laid; and 5 in the construction period of the non-rainfall period, an automatic dust falling system starts. The environment-friendly construction method is simple and labor-saving, solves theproblem of water collection of a construction section, effectively saves water resources by utilizing waste water to filter, spray and reduce dust, and is excellent in dust reduction effect.
