The invention relates to the technical field of hydraulic desilting, and discloses a desilting device and method of a water conservancy project facilitating treatment. The desilting device comprises avehicle frame, wherein a mud pump and a treatment box are fixedly connected to the top of the vehicle frame from left to right in sequence, the discharging end of the mud pump fixedly communicates with one end of a conveying pipe, the other end of the conveying pipe extends into the treatment box, a motor and a charging barrel are fixedly connected to the two sides of the top of the treatment boxrespectively, one end of a horizontal transmission shaft is fixedly connected to an output shaft of the motor, the other end of the transmission shaft extends into the charging barrel, the outer sideof the transmission shaft is fixedly sleeved with a packing auger, the packing auger is located in the charging barrel, and a horizontal filter plate is slidably and hermetically connected to the interior of the treatment box and is located above the conveying pipe. When the designed desilting device works, the filter plate can be pressed continuously and strongly, then sewage in mud can be pressed and pumped out to efficiently filter water out of the mud, and the moisture content of the mud is effectively lowered.
