Gear-driven mechanical code lock
The invention relates to a gear-driven mechanical code lock and relates to the field of turnplate number check type mechanical code locks. Five rotary knob discs are rotated directly to accomplish a number check operation; a cam mechanism is driven by a handle to rotate to unlock and lock; during number check, a coupling shaft movably connected to each rotary knob shaft penetrating a lock body drives an overload protection device and a code changing device to rotate first and adjacent parallel shafts to rotate, returns to the lock body and then drives a center gear and a follow-up gear to rotate synchronously, so that five turnplates provided with openings rotate to correct positions. During unlocking, a cam pushes a locking plate first to be inserted into a tooth space of the center gear, each rotary knob disc no longer rotates, then the cam pushes an unlocking insertion plate to be inserted into the opening of each turnplate, and the cam rotates continuously to unlock, and technicalunlocking cannot be achieved. When the handle or the rotary knob discs are twisted powerfully, the handle and the rotary knob discs can idle. A code changing operation and a code garbling operation are easy and feasible, so that the gear-driven mechanical code lock is particularly suitable for being used in important occasions with relatively low frequency of usage.
