The method includes the steps that a wall is treated to meet pasting requirements; a reference control line is drawn on the treated wall in a flip manner; an adjustable bracket piece is installed on the wall according to the reference control line; a notch is formed in the insulation anddecoration composite board, and a fastening piece clamped and fixed to the adjustable bracket piece is installed in the notch; the back side of the insulation and decoration composite board is coatedwith an adhesive to make the insulation and decoration composite board attached to the wall and meanwhile make the fastening piece clamped to the adjustable bracket piece so that the insulation and decoration composite board can be connected and fixed to the wall; and a protective film on the surface of the insulation and decoration composite board is teared off to clean the surface of the insulation and decoration composite board.
