The invention discloses an anti-collision telescopic stand column of a tent and the tent. The telescopic stand column comprises an inner pipe and an outer pipe which are in sleeved connection. The inner pipe is provided with an open end connected in the outer pipe in an inserted manner. An end plug is arranged at the open end. The telescopic stand column further comprises a buffer pad, wherein thebuffer pad is arranged on the end plug and can absorb energy through deformation. When the telescopic stand column suddenly contracts due to various factors, the inner pipe and the outer pipe slide relatively, a component on the outer pipe will collide with the buffer pad firstly, energy generated by colliding is absorbed through deformation of the buffer pad, then an effective protection function is achieved on a component in the telescopic stand column, and cracking deformation and other kinds of damage are prevented from happening to the telescopic stand column.
