The invention provides a fireproof window capable of being automatically closed. The fireproof window comprises a window frame, a window body, a pulley, a pull rope, a worm gear, a worm, supporting plates, a bimetallic strip and a protection device, wherein the worm is rotationally connected between the two supporting plates; the two supporting plates are fixedly arranged on an active layer of thebimetallic strip; the bimetallic strip is fixedly arranged on the window frame; the protection device comprises a shell, connecting plates, a first transverse plate, a connecting rod, a second transverse plate, a limiting stop block and an elastic component; one of the ends of the two connecting plates is fixedly connected with the two ends of the bimetallic strip correspondingly, and the other one of the ends of the two connecting plates is fixedly connected with the two ends of the first transverse plate correspondingly; one end of the connecting rod is fixedly connected with the middle ofthe first transverse plate, and the other end of the connecting rod is positioned in an inner cavity of the shell; the second transverse plate is fixedly connected with the other end of the connectingrod; the limiting stop block is fixedly installed on the connecting rod; and one end of the elastic component is connected with the bottom face of the inner cavity of the shell, and the other end ofthe elastic component is fixedly connected with the bottom of the second transverse plate. The fireproof window can be automatically closed when a fire disaster happens, and the overall structure of the fireproof window is simple.
