The invention relates to a ferrite asphalt mixture with a microwave snow melting function and a preparation method and application thereof. The ferrite asphalt mixture comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 85.5-89.5% of coarse and fine aggregates, 2.1%-7.9% of mineral powder; 4.8%-5.3% of asphalt; 3.4%-6.8% of zinc manganese ferrite powder; and 0.01-0.3% of fiber. Asphalt and other mixtures are mixed so that the zinc-manganese ferrite powder is uniformly dispersed in the asphalt mortar and is laid on a roadbed. Compared with the prior art, after the ferrite powder is subjected to microwave heating, microwave electromagnetic energy can be converted into heat energy so that the surface temperature of the asphalt mixture is rapidly and uniformly increased to 5 DEG C from-20 DEG C, and an effective snow melting function can be achieved for an accumulated snow pavement; the asphalt mixture doped with the ferrite powder has the advantages that the heat conductivity coefficient is increased by 0.4-0.8 W/(m.K) compared with the original heat conductivity coefficient, the heat conduction capability of the pavement is effectively improved, and the snow melting function isenhanced.
