The process comprises a concentration procedure, a filter pressing procedure, a burdening procedure, an aging procedure, a forming procedure, a drying procedure and a sintering procedure. The process has the beneficial effects that the emission of wastes such as mud generated in sand washing production can be reduced; shale and other raw materials needing to be mined in traditional brick making are not used, and resourcesare saved; additives are added during forming, and the compressive strength after curing forming is improved by 6% or above compared with the compressive strength without addition of the additives; the sintered heat preservation building block prepared by the invention has a heat preservation function, and the heat conductivity coefficient is less than 0.4 W/m.K; the sintered heat preservation building block prepared by the method is small in apparent density which is less than 900kg/m < 3 >, and the dead weight is saved by more than 50% compared with that of the traditional brick.
