The longitudinal sliding mode protection trolley comprises a pulley assembly, wherein a protection trolley is connected through the pulley assembly; the pulley assembly comprises a fixing frame; the fixing frame is rotationally connected with a row of guide wheels; the fixing frame is symmetrically provided with two rows of limiting wheels relative to the guide wheels; L-shaped clamping platesmatched with L-shaped supports are symmetrically arranged on the fixing frame; the protection trolley comprises a rectangular frame; the rectangular frame is connected with a corrugated plate; the rectangular frame comprises two transverse edges and two longitudinal edges; one transverse edge is matched with the guide wheel, and one opposite side surface of the transverse edge is propped againstthe limiting wheel; and the lower surface of the other transverse edge is connected with a plurality of rollers matched with the handrails. The protection trolley is slidably connected through the pulley assembly, protection on operators is achieved through the protection trolley, and the problems that an existing protection device is large in size, poor in maneuverability and not easy to disassemble and assemble are solved.
