The invention relates to a construction method used in an initial stage of sinking of a sinking well. The construction method comprises the following steps: a sinking well sinking area and an easy-to-flush area are determined on a riverbed, the easy-to-flush area is located at the upstream of the sinking well sinking area, and at least part of the easy-to-flush area is overlapped with the sinkingwell sinking area; the easy-to-flush area is riprapped with a protective layer; the sinking well sinks in the sinking well sinking area to enable the sinking well to sit on the bed for the first time;and the protective layer at the bottom of the sinking well is removed to enable the sinking well to sink to the preset elevation according to a preset posture, and final bed sitting is completed. Theproblem that in a related technology, the sinking well sinks to form a large elevation difference, and consequently the sinking well is deviated can be solved.
