The invention provides a cover plate blockage prevention structure for a municipal drainage ditch and discloses a blockage prevention structure capable of automatically cleaning a water drainage pointing joint of a cover plate under the driving of the impact of water flow in the ditch, capable of saving time and labor and capable of cleaning in time. The cover plate blockage prevention structure for the municipal drainage ditch is characterized in that two groups of fixing rods are correspondingly placed on the two sides of a water drainage cover plate; one group of fixing rods consists of twofixing rods; the two fixing rods in one group are correspondingly placed on the two sides of the water drainage cover plate; the two ends of a guide rod are connected with the two fixing rods in onegroup; multiple slide grooves which are distributed in an equally spaced manner are formed in the fixing rods; multiple connecting columns are arranged between the two fixing rods; the two ends of theconnecting columns are placed in the two opposite slide grooves in a slideable manner; the diameters of the two ends of a sliding column are less than the diameter of the middle part of the sliding column; multiple groups of through grooves which are distributed in an equally spaced manner are formed in the water drainage cover plate; the widths of the through grooves are gradually reduced from top to bottom; one group of through grooves consists of at least three through grooves; and the through grooves in one group are positioned right above the connecting columns.
