The quake-proof buffer system comprises a quake-proof device, a transverse slide device, a connector and a transverse buffer device,wherein the quake-proof device is arranged between an upper buttress and a lower buttress of the building; the transverse slide device is arranged between the quake-proof device and the upper buttress or the lower buttress; the connector is fixedly arranged on the upper buttress; and one end of the transverse buffer device is fixedly connected to the lower buttress, and the other end of the transverse buffer device is fixedly connected to the connector. The quake-proof buffer system has the advantages that: the quake-proof device, the transverse slide device and the transverse buffer device are arranged, so that the building has a quake-proof function and a buffer function in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction; and the quake-proof buffer system is simple in structure, iseasy to manufacture, is lower in cost, and is long in service life.
