The invention relates to a foundation settlement monitoring system for constructional engineering. The foundation settlement monitoring system comprises a settlement hole, a heating body, a settlementportion, a data acquisition portion and a settlement information determination portion, wherein a distributed temperature sensing optical fiber is arranged in the settlement hole; the heating body isarranged on one side of the settlement hole and can generate heat; the settlement portion is arranged on the side, which is opposite to the heating body, of the settlement hole and has a heat insulation function; the settlement portion comprises a plurality of settlement bodies which are arranged at intervals; part or all of the settlement bodies are made of a heat insulation material; the data acquisition portion is used for acquiring temperature data of different positions of the distributed temperature sensing optical fiber; and the settlement information determination portion is used fordetermining foundation settlement data based on the temperature data acquired by the data acquisition portion.
