The metal shock-absorbing energy-consuming coupling beam comprises a metal damper, a first end plate, first H-shaped steel, first T-shaped steel, a second end plate, second H-shaped steel, second T-shaped steel, and a plurality of studs; the first end plate and the second end plate are separately arranged on two sidesof the metal damper, the metal damper is arranged on one side of the first end plate, and the first H-shaped steel is arranged on the other side of the first end plate; the metal damper is arranged onone side of the second end plate, and the second H-shaped steel is arranged on the other side of the second ens plate; the first T-shaped steel is connected to the upper part of the first end plate,and the second T-shaped steel is connected to the upper part of the second end plate; and the multiple studs are separately arranged above the first T-shaped steel and the second T-shaped steel. According to the metal shock-absorbing energy-consuming coupling beam, a shock-absorbing device can utilize the elastoplastic hysteretic deformation generated when a metal element or member yields to dissipate energy, and under the action of earthquake force, the ductility and energy consumption ability of the coupling beam can be greatly improved.
